I am loved, surrounded
and supported by the Teachers of God. Step 23

THE TRUTH OF THIS WILL BECOME SELF-EVIDENT as you
prepare, but for now it may require great faith. This idea may challenge
existing ideas or beliefs, but it is true nonetheless. God’s Plan is invisible
and recognized by very few because very few have the openness of mind and the
quality of attention that will allow them to see what is obviously occurring
around them, which at this point is not obvious to them at all. Your Teachers
love you, surround you and support you, for you are emerging into Knowledge.
This calls them to your side. You are one of the few who has the promise and
the opportunity to emerge from the sleep of your own imagination into the grace
of Reality.
THEREFORE, IN YOUR TWO PRACTICE PERIODS TODAY, feel
this love, support and direction. It is a feeling. It is not ideas. It is a
feeling. It is something you must feel. Love is something you must feel to
know. You are indeed loved, surrounded and supported by your Teachers, and you
are very worthy of their great gift to you.

leaves are young – light green. For me, being in nature is where I most
experience the presence of the Teachers of God.
This can be a difficult,
sensing the presence of Teachers and Guides, unless of course at some point or
points in your life you've been thankfully saved from doing something stupid or
risky and know it was more than luck.

This reveals not so much
the lesson, but thought about the greater challenge of which the New Message makes
us aware.

2nd Time Step 22. This is for those who have completed Steps once. Doing Steps
with only the texts, messages and your life experience, including what you may
have studied and practiced is your journey. I’m showing my first year Step
comments after the Step, so as not to influence you in advance. It is a
wilderness trek to be left to your own wits, but then you can also listen more
closely for guides, angels and teachers, always first saying: “I surround and
protect myself with the Love and the Grace of God.” Thankfully, I was taught
this practice in 1989.
P.S. If you’ve some interest due to this or other
Steps, you should go to the beginning blog post. From here you will learn about Steps to Knowledge
and can begin it on the day that makes sense; then progress as needed. You can
use the posts on this blog as a companion if it helps. They will remain in
order in the archives - one post per Step.
Often it takes 18 months to get through the Steps
once. For this blog, the pace is one-a-day, but it really makes no difference
how fast you do it, only that you begin, persist and repeat. Posts here provide
a trail that may let you have a virtual companion when and if you want one. One
may have to study alone, as I did in the beginning. There are other Steps
students blogging their experience and you might find a person more like you as
a companion, or use a number of such Steps journeys. There are options as well
