Greetings All -
THE TRUTH IS WITH YOU. YOU CAN FEEL IT, and it can shine into your mind and into your emotions if you allow it to. Today continue your preparation in developing the desire for truth and the capability to experience truth.
IN YOUR TWO LONGER PRACTICE PERIODS, each of a 30-minute duration, sit quietly with your eyes closed, breathing deeply and regularly, attempting to feel the truth beyond the constant restlessness of your mind. Use your breath to take you deeper, for your breathing will always take you beyond your thoughts if you adhere yourself to it conscientiously. Let nothing distract or dissuade you. If something permeates your mind and you have difficulty releasing it, tell yourself that you will look at it a little later, but that right now you are taking a small vacation from your mind. Practice feeling the truth. Do not think the truth. Practice feeling the truth.
PRACTICE 32: Two 30-minute practice periods.

7:50 p.m. Where am I? For the past two days S2K was to, on the hour, look at the world w/o judgement in order to see a different world. I've not been able to do that very well. I recall the ACIM lessons where one was to see that it is an illusion. I don't know if this is the same lesson.
When I look off the back porch northeast across the backyard - I see a hodge-podge of housing. The remnants of apple tree stumps. Grape vines overrun with honeysuckle and other weeds. I see work that should be done and the result of other peoples works - homes, fences, a car - new Malibu and Chevy custom van. The living things are green. People move through the scene.
8:05 p.m. Looking w/o judgement. No particular change.
I see pieces of a town, a settlement. My work - cooperation - is already known. I am learning the known and teaching the known. I should not be needed.
These practices are simple, but not easy. Following is my Steps book page for this lesson with green ink for 1999, black ink from /00 meaning 2000 and blue ink undated.
I stuck with it; learned many useful things that enabled me to get through some tough situations, and I'm still learning. The Teachers have packed a lot in here.
