Greetings All –
ONCE AGAIN WE AFFIRM THIS IDEA that you not be
negligent of those simple, practical tasks that enable you to be a student of Knowledge.
Remember you are not attempting to escape the world, but are working on
becoming powerful within the world. Therefore, do not neglect those simple,
little things that enable you and give you the freedom to become a student of
Knowledge. Here all of your activities, even the most mundane and repetitive,
can be seen as a form of service and contribution. In this way, all small
things, however mundane and repetitive, can serve the world because they
represent that you are honoring your True Self. This is the Self that exists in
all individuals, the Self that exists in the world and the Self that exists in the
Greater Community of Worlds.
BE ATTENTIVE TO THE LITTLE THINGS YOU DO this day
and do not neglect them. If you do not fear them, you will not resist them. If
you do not resist them, you will be able to attend to them. And as you attend
to them, you will be able to give yourself to them. Here Knowledge will express
itself in all activities and Knowledge will be taught and reinforced in all
activities. The world needs this demonstration, for the world thinks that God,
love, true power and inspiration exist only in ideal states and only in ideal
situations. The world does not understand that God expresses God everywhere and
that Knowledge expresses itself everywhere and in all things.
AS YOU COME TO UNDERSTAND THIS GREAT TRUTH, you
will see the presence of Knowledge in all things. You will see Knowledge within
the world. You will see Knowledge within yourself. This will give you complete
confidence in your own participation and in your own service to Knowledge. You
will then realize that you are saving the world time in its evolvement,
advancement and salvation. This is so important for your confidence. But it is
even more important for you to realize the greatness of Knowledge and the
greatness that you will experience within yourself as you learn to receive it.
UPON THE HOUR REMEMBER TODAY’S IDEA and apply it so
that you may be conscientious within each hour. In your two deeper meditation
practices, re-enter stillness so that you may rekindle your experience of the
fire of Knowledge so that the fire of Knowledge may purify and cleanse your
mind and free it from all restraint. In this way, you will be able to be in the
world more completely, and small things will not be neglected.
PRACTICE 330: Two 30-minute practice periods. Hourly
practice
This is a good Step and it occurred on a good day. This
far into the Steps, I am receiving great benefit. The only comment on the Steps page has to do
with the GC website:
Even today, as improved as the website is or ever
can be, will it do: “justice to the power of the material – of K?” Every version of the website has helped or will
help students, and that is good, but the power of the material; that is
experienced through Steps practice.
So, this comment is not a criticism, but simply a recognition of the power of this teaching.

a.m. Ah Saturday, my Sabbath – I've just realized that the thing I want most, I
already have – and that is life. I've yet to do/read the S2K practice. I've
been involved in a response to the LO List attack on At de Lange – he's too wordy
– there are few easy answers – there are tools to create solutions. There is no
permanence –
Laws
of the universe are based on relationships. When some relationships are broken,
things fall apart. The pieces do not stand alone. These are called laws – but
they are really true observations about fundamental relationships.
My
relationship to the Creator is unchanging. The only way to relate to another is
through the Creator – Knowledge is the device/means by which I can understand
that. To relate directly to others w/o linking through the Creator is a
misunderstanding. I take the Creator's power in my life and assume it to be my
own. For a period of time – this can be done – until the dysfunction causes it
to implode.
Many
systems honor the Creator in their external show – but their agenda is to stay
separate. The Creator will not destroy them… for ultimately they are
unsustainable.
And
so – the challenge is to be in the world, but not of the world.
Living
truly involves the Knowing of the relationship to God – and then – from that
core relating to others – each and all of which have the same fundamental
relationship to the Creator. This is the inspiration. – This is Knowing –
different than the HI [Holy Instant] – HI is getting the Connection to all – this
is more simple – simple as to be profound. I could celebrate – I do thank my
teachers – who I blessed yesterday… Some of whom (---) needed one second at a
time.

p.m. Step 329 – "I am free to love the world today." I've gotten to
this practice simply by responding to the world's needs and my own. K is the
way. "Just Know"
Ye
shall Know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
The
amount of freedom you experience is a measure of the truth of anything you
test. A "sense" of freedom and freedom are not the same – for the 1st
often denies relationship while the latter lives it.

Goal of learning to avoid failure. Michael Dell – learning through failure –
sub-optimum results. Failure – missing the mark – the smack – sin – vision is
perfect/implementation is not. Objectives by results – what we got was what we
needed/our goal even if we didn't know it should be the goal.

Another
practice reviewed. At this point, the cumulative effect of the new thinking
Steps has presented is beginning to truly connect. Let us continue.
